What Is B Corp™

B Corp™ Certification is awarded to businesses that meet high standards of verified social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. The certification evaluates how a company creates impact across areas including governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. For Wolf & Byrd, becoming a B Corp™ represents more than a milestone. It represents a responsibility to continue evolving with greater intention and care.

As part of our B Corp™ Certification, Wolf & Byrd was assessed across multiple areas including governance, community, environment, customers, and business practices. Below is an overview of our impact assessment highlights.

Our Journey

Our B Corp™ journey formally began in 2024 through a B Corp™ Bootcamp organised by the Singapore Fashion Council. While many of the values guiding Wolf & Byrd already existed within the spirit of the brand, the framework provided structure and clarity that helped us strengthen internal systems, formalise policies, deepen accountability, and think more intentionally about long-term impact.

The process encouraged us to examine every layer of the business — from governance and operations to community engagement, production practices, and stakeholder relationships. In many ways, it helped institutionalise the values that had always existed at the heart of Wolf & Byrd.

 

Our Approach To Impact

PEOPLE COMMUNITY  CRAFT & RESPONSIBILITY

We believe clothing can influence how people feel about themselves. Through mentorship, advocacy, charitable initiatives, and emotionally resonant storytelling, we aim to create work that empowers confidence, visibility, and self-expression.

Wolf & Byrd actively supports community initiatives, women-focused programmes, mentorship opportunities, and collaborations that contribute positively to local creative and social ecosystems.

We continue working toward more thoughtful production practices through intentional sourcing, reduced-waste approaches, local collaborations, and a growing commitment toward responsible materials and operational improvement.
